Uniting the Entertainment Industry
This Hollywood campus design proposes bridging the gap between entertainment education and industry expertise by creating a model that brings the institution, the community, and the entertainment industry into a singular dynamic campus location. RIOS and LPC West proposed a design that would create a new performing arts center in the heart of Hollywood—the entertainment capital of the world.
The campus is a next-generation model that would create a new stage for AMDA, the community, and the entertainment industry to come together in a cultural center that strategically united the performing arts academy, theater venues, production of commercial entertainment, and residents in one vibrant and multi-disciplinary environment. This new mixed-use campus is designed to add depth and vitality to the local neighborhood while allowing AMDA and its students exposure to the private entertainment sector by integrating it into the proposed development.
