Summer 2021 Internship
RIOS is seeking applicants in architecture, landscape architecture, and interior architecture for summer internships. Ideal candidates are highly motivated individuals who are passionate about design, and would enjoy participating in our lively office culture.
Positions will last 10-12 weeks. This is a paid internship.

Marketing Proposal Manager
The role of the Marketing Manager plays an essential role in the success of RIOS’ business goals through the management of all marketing related activities. This role is responsible for collaborating with the office’s marketing, graphics, and business development teams in a fast-paced atmosphere while working on multiple projects simultaneously.
We have an immediate opening for a detailed- oriented and highly organized accounting/ purchasing professional to help support our growing office. This is a new position that will serve as the main point of contact for project related purchasing requests and assist our design and accounting teams with FF&E procurement.
Product / Furniture Designer
We are seeking an Intermediate Product Designer to fully engage with concept, design / technical development, and physical prototyping on multiple projects across different product typologies. Interested applicants must have a strong design intuition, the skills to verbalize, visualize and realize ideas, and the ability to nimbly work between collaborating as part of a team and progressing design independently as a self-starter.
The Designer role is responsible for being a positive team player and participating in the RIOS design process while focusing on professional development and obtaining technical expertise. A Designer strives to deliver top-notch project task execution and contributes to the overall success of the team.
Junior Landscape Designer/Architect
We have openings for landscape designers/architects who are committed to the creation and development of outstanding landscape design from concept through execution.
Intermediate Landscape Designer/Architect
We have an immediate opening for a mid to senior level landscape architect that is committed to the creation and development of outstanding landscape design from concept through execution.
Intermediate Dual Landscape/Architect
We have an immediate opening for a mid to senior level dual landscape/architect that is committed to the creation and development of outstanding design from concept through execution with a passion for technical and highly complex projects.
We are seeking an architectural designer to assist and develop appropriate design solutions on multiple projects. Interested applicants must have a strong design aesthetic, enjoy creating beautiful work and be able to work collaboratively and independently.
An ideal candidate has strong design skills, a high degree of self motivation, and a passion for creativity.
Intermediate Interior Designer/Architect committed to the creation and development of outstanding design from concept through execution and is interested in working on a variety of project types and scales.
A great candidate has demonstrated experience in residential architectural interiors. Experience with commercial projects is also a plus, but not required.
Senior Technical Architect
We are seeking a licensed Architect to assist and develop appropriate design solutions and lead the detailed design development and production of construction documents on multiple projects. Please apply if you have an extroverted personality and enjoy finding innovative solutions for documentation and technical designs in a fast-paced design studio. Strong QA/QC skills required with a minimum of 15+ years of professional experience.
