RIOS is proud to sponsor the A+D Museum annual gala, “Celebrate:Play.” The studio is donating two items available for silent auction at the event – a Courthouse Skate Shop deck and pair of Classic Vans with a one-of-a-kind design by RIOS, recognizing the power of skate culture in Los Angeles.
A+D celebrates its 18th year of progressive architecture, design programs, and innovative exhibitions with its annual gala and fundraiser, “Celebrate: Play” on Saturday, May 11 from 7:00-11:00 PM at the Museum.
This year’s theme, ‘Celebrate: Play’ establishes A+D as the place for creativity and fun. Play is a state of mind that exists outside of the restrictions that occupy our everyday lives. It gives us the space to connect with our pure imagination. For this year’s Celebrate the museum becomes a space for exploration and fun, and a return to the freedom of creativity without defined goals. It is in these spaces that our minds are at their most vibrant. Play goes beyond recreation, it is a vital means of education and human connection values the museum aims to champion. We invite our family to go down the rabbit hole with us and return to a state of play.
