Designing to Inspire

Posted 1.8.26IdeasRIOSArchitectureCitiesLandscapeUrban Design

Four decades, six studios, one RIOS

40 years of practice has taught us that the best places reveal their character over time, becoming more meaningful as people find new ways to use them. This pursuit of wonder guides everything we do. In 2025, we began 65 new projects across 42 cities in six countries. We celebrated our projects with 24 awards and features in Architectural Digest, Wall Street Journal, Fast Company, and more that reflect both our clients’ ambition and our teams’ dedication to design excellence.

Destination Without a Ticket

Experience-driven districts are redefining city centers. The most successful districts weave into the rituals of daily life. RIOS is leading some of the country’s most high-profile district projects, where hospitality, retail, creative spaces, and public life intersect. The result: vibrant places that invite exploration and keep people coming back.

Bangkok Studios

Studios that Evolve with Content

Production culture is evolving fast. Virtual technology, new workflows, and changing economics demand facilities that respond rapidly. RIOS designs studios, soundstages, and broadcast facilities that adapt with technology—from entertainment production hubs to university media innovation spaces and public broadcasting stations. Our experience spans complex technology infrastructure, including NextGen TV broadcast standards, acoustically optimized environments, LED volumes for virtual production, and in-camera VFX stages. The right studio supports imagination and innovation, so the work can follow wherever inspiration leads.

Workplaces that Inspire

The workplace creates a compelling reason to come together. We design environments that transcend the traditional office, where biophilic elements enhance well-being, diverse settings support every task, and flexible spaces foster genuine connection.

Great Spaces Start with Great People

Our people are the driving force behind our work. With nearly 300 team members across six studios worldwide, we collaborate daily across disciplines, bringing curiosity and craft to every project. Beyond the studio walls, we channel this same energy into our communities through our Social Impact Initiative, Third Thursday events, and our annual RIOS Internship program.
