Studio Director Yan Aung is an expert at designing and managing architectural projects to create exceptional livable spaces. In his role, Yan builds and maintains effective team relationships to drive productivity, creativity, and success. Originally from Burma in Southeast Asia, Yan’s global perspective brings a holistic design approach in architecture.

He is highly attentive to detail, and his conceptual and technical design sensibility allow his work to achieve spaces that are elegant, contemporary yet timeless. He is inspired by visual expressions and how design is a language that can create the tone or mood of a place. His designs accentuate style and function by creatively combining design elements, such as natural light, orientation, space, and volume, to realize extraordinary solutions for his clients. An award-winning designer, Yan has received honorable recognitions for his architectural exhibitions and participation in design competitions to develop sustainable building strategies.
