Media Coverage on Downtown LA Luxury Tower

Four online publications feature our collaboration with Koichi Takada Architects and MVE Architects on the redwood-inspired residential tower, Sky Trees, at 11th and Hill Street in Downtown LA. Serving as the landscape architect, we proposed a green façade to hide the above-grade parking, along with open-air amenity terraces.⁠

The tall narrow tower mimics the silhouette of the iconic redwoods in California and features a canopy above the entrance inspired by Marilyn Monroe’s billowing skirt in “The Seven Year Itch.”⁠
