Summer 2026 Internships
Sustainable Design (Architecture) - London
RIOS is seeking Sustainable design applicants for work placement this summer. Ideal candidates are highly motivated individuals who are passionate about design, and would enjoy participating in our lively office culture. This is a full-time one month program running anytime between Monday June 1, 2026 through Friday July 31st, 2026. A laptop will be provided for the duration of the program.
Architecture
Project Designer (Multiple Locations)
We are seeking an architectural designer to assist and develop appropriate design solutions on multiple projects. Interested applicants must have a strong design aesthetic and be able to implement a project’s design vision from concept through completion via critical design thinking, iteration, inclusive communication, and active, creative problem solving. A minimum of 5-8+ years of professional experience.
Senior Project Designer/Director - Residential (Los Angeles, CA)
We are seeking a Senior Project Designer/Director to lead the execution of multiple projects from concept through completion via design leadership, strong communication and active independent and collaborative engagement. Interested applicants must have a top- tier design aesthetic and the ability to effectively mentor and guide project teams. A minimum of 8+ years of professional experience.
Technical Director
The Technical Director provides strategic and technical leadership across architectural projects to ensure the highest standards of design execution, constructability, and regulatory compliance. This role oversees technical quality, establishes firmwide standards, and supports project teams through complex design and construction challenges. The Technical Director collaborates closely with principals, project managers, and consultants to deliver projects that meet client expectations, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
Interior Architecture
Designer II (Los Angeles, CA)
We have an immediate opening for an experienced interior design professional to assist and develop appropriate design solutions on multiple projects. Interested applicants must have a strong design aesthetic and be able to implement a project’s design vision from concept through completion via critical design thinking, iteration, inclusive communication, and active, creative problem solving. Bachelor or certificate in Interior Design, Bachelor of Architecture degree. 3-5 years experience, preferably at an interior design studio.
Singapore
Landscape Designer
We have an immediate opening for a Landscape Designer in our Singapore office. The Landscape Designer role is responsible for being a positive team player and participating in the RIOS design process while focusing on professional development and obtaining technical expertise. A Designer strives to deliver top-notch project task execution and contributes to the overall success of the team. A minimum of 1-4 years of professional experience. Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree or a Master’s of Landscape Architecture degree from an accredited college or university.

RIOS has an immediate opening for Senior Project Designer/Architect that is committed to the creation, development, and mentorship of outstanding design excellence from concept through execution, with particular expertise in interior architecture. Minimum 10+ years of professional interior architecture / design experience. Bachelor or Master’s of Architecture degree from an accredited college or university in Architecture or Interior Design.
