In a career spanning more than 30 years, Jon has developed a wide range of skills and professional experience. Jon’s talent for design, quick grasp of complex systems, and voluminous memory has made him indispensable to our studios. His responsibilities span the entire life of a project, from conceptualization to design to project management to construction documentation and administration. He excels at coordinating the various engineers, consultants, and manufacturers’ representatives involved in so many of our projects. He’s also exceptional at navigating the approval process with government agencies. He provides technical assistance and quality control review across the entire office. Jon is frequently invited back to California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, his alma mater for student reviews at the College of Environmental Design. He has also been a visiting critic at Woodbury University.
